Three pubs, one family
Until O'Donnells opens, and after that too, you will find us at two other addresses in Freiburg. Both are run by Sarah Lambe and Kieran Mullen.
O'Kellys Irish Pub
The big brother: Irish pub and restaurant in the city centre
O'Kellys has been a Freiburg institution for many years. A big, lively pub with a kitchen, where sport is on the screens, the pub quiz runs on Mondays and bingo on Thursdays, and where you can eat as well as you can drink. O'Donnells will be something like its smaller, quieter sister: the same hospitality, less bustle.
- Irish pub kitchen and menu
- Live sport on several screens
- Pub quiz on Mondays, bingo on Thursdays
- Vouchers at the bar
Oscar Wilde's Irish Pub & Whiskey Bar
For whiskey lovers, brunch and the Monday quiz
Oscar Wilde's is the pub with the big whiskey collection: Irish, Scotch and world whiskies, put together by Kieran with the help of a whiskey sommelier. There is brunch at the weekend, a bilingual pub quiz on Mondays, and the whiskey bar can be hired for private events.
- Large whiskey selection with tasting menu
- Brunch on Saturday and Sunday
- Pub quiz on Mondays, in English and German
- Whiskey bar for private parties
And now O'Donnells
With their third pub, Sarah and Kieran are bringing what works in the city centre to the north of the city: an independent free house, small, cosy and close to the people who live there.
